Skillbuilders - News

Spreading the message is a key factor ensuring the next generation and their mentors get the recognition they deserve. High profile publicity like the Queens representative presenting the Queens Awards at Ludlow school, or Marches young chefs going to London or indeed the CIC launch of Skillbuilders are all important to keep the Skillbuilders ethos in the public view.

Skillbuilders, although looking to focus in designated geographic areas is keen to be part of a much larger fellowship all learning from each other and sharing best practice.

For this we need the news industry to be our outward facing message board and to really buy in to the vision.

Busy, Busy

This week has been very busy indeed for Skillbuilders;  On  Monday we started off with our Young Chefs visit to Windsor Castle where we were given a private tour of the kitchens and associated areas plus a tour of the State Rooms which are absolutley stunning, more about this will appear on the Events page soon.

On Wednesday we then started our programme of Afterschool Clubs in Ludlow and Tenbury which give pupils an insight into the world of catering and food production, more about this will appear on the project page soon

And finally on Thursday we are interviewing candidates for our new coordinator post. More here when we've appointed them.

What busy bees we are!
